New Hampshire DWI Case Example: A citizen was involved in a single car accident in which her car slid off the road and became enmeshed in a fence.  The citizen got a ride home.  Shortly afterward the police arrived.  The police questioned the citizen about drinking; she said she had a glass of wine before the accident and nothing since the accident.  The arresting officer asked the citizen to perform DWI “field sobriety tests” inside her home.  She exhibited every possible “clue of impairment” possible on every field sobriety test she performed.  She submitted to a preliminary breath test (“PBT”) that claimed her breath alcohol concentration was a .249.  The officer arrested the citizen and charged her with DWI. Once at the police station the citizen consented to a breath test, which printed out a result of .16/.16, or double the per se amount or “double the legal limit”. 

This driver hired Salem, New Hampshire DWI lawyer Mark Stevens to defend her at trial.  After a trial in the District Court, this citizen was found not guilty of DWI.  She was not convicted of anything and was able to drive home from court.

Note-this is one example of a recent New Hampshire DUI-DWI case victory. It is by no means a guarantee of any particular result in any other case.
