DWI CASE EXAMPLE: A citizen was stopped for speeding; he was mildly exceeding the posted speed limit: 54 in a 45 mile per hour zone.  After the stop, he was subjected to the 3-part ritual known as “field sobriety tests”: a “follow-the-pen” test, a “9-step walk-and-turn test” and a “one leg stand test”.  Despite relatively good performance during the roadside gymnastics, the trooper deemed him to have “failed”.  After allegedly “failing” the gymnastics, the citizen was arrested for DWI.  He declined the arresting officer’s invitation to incriminate himself after his arrest with any further testing.  This citizen hired New Hampshire DWI lawyer Mark Stevens to defend him at trial.  After a trial in the District Court, this driver was found NOT GUILTY of DWI.

Note-this is one example of a recent New Hampshire DWI case victory. It is by no means a guarantee of any particular result in any other case.
